Look for outrigger canoe clubs that offer rec programs. You usually pay a base membership fee, then have access to club rec paddles. During race season (April-September) priority usually goes to racers, but almost always there are seats open.<…Stay balanced and centered. Begining paddlers in OC tend to lean left to stay dry, but once you learn to embrace a light ama, it all opens up from there.
